School of Management Studies (SOMS), National Institute of Technology embarked its journey in 2009 as an effort to intertwine technical skills and managerial proficiency. Since its inception, the school has strived to make knowledge its culture and excellence its tradition. SOMS offers a two year residential MBA programme in five core areas of management. The programme is semester based, in tandem with academic pattern followed by NITC both in syllabus and in pedagogy of industrial exposure. The MBA programme the school offers is at par with the educational standards set by leading B-schools in the country. While the students are subjected to an intensive academic regime they are encouraged in their co-curricular endeavors. The education imparted, is designed to satisfy the needs of the corporate world without discounting the importance of entrepreneurship.
